- I went veggie at 25, and am now, at 43, near vegan.
- About Me:
- I am the partner of Fiona Oakes who runs Tower Hill Stables Animal Sanctuary. I work for the Bank of New York Mellon & I am a musician in my spare time.
My band is called Yak & we play progressive rock & sell CD's to raise funds for the rescued animals, of whom there over 300 now

Whilst I was at work today, my partner Fiona took in 2 more rescued dogs destined for the needle from a Dog pound.
She usually tells me there is a surprise waiting for me when I get home & so I now know what this means ! It might not sound like much I know, but when you consider we
already have 23 rescued dogs living with us in the house - & the
