- About Me:
- In this lifetime I've been vegetarian since my early years, vegan for about the past 10 years. As a vocalist/songwriter I'm into expressing joy and compassion, consciousness in a rock format.
What's important? Love and respect for all beings - all species, we're all here sharing this earth experience. Seems to me that as we become more awake we become more compassionate beings. But I'm often shocked and saddened by human behavior towards our extended (non-human) family.
I guess one of my personal issues is that it's a constant balance to be an expression of kindness without being preachy; to inspire insight without telling people what to do, to let them discover their own conscience. I feel that eventually the human species will awaken and all this past behavior will be a sad and bewildering history lesson.
Always happy to meet and exchange ideas with other vegetarians!

Springtime: a successful baby bird rescue!
Ah Springtime on the west coast - isn't it grand? So many great flowers are blooming here in the Willamette Valley! And of course, lots of babies are appearing, there's some new cute little squirrels in the yard, and the yearly emergence of baby birds.

Joyful with a Broken Heart
In the spring begins anew an everyday miracle. As they have done for countless generations, the wild geese return from their journeys. Spring and summer nights they rest in the nearby ponds with the tiny islands in the middle. They glide low over the trees and over the house of my lover and I.
We stand together sometimes in the garden and listen to the wind whistling in their wings as they prepare to land in the water. Amusing to see us, two rock performers out… Continue
