- I am 28 years old and originally from South Carolina, but moved to The Netherlands to be with my true soulmate. We have been together 6 years and still going strong ^_^.
We are both vegetarians and have strong beliefs in life, love, and peace! I first became a vegetarian years ago. My 'job' was saving abused animals. Someone told me that in China, they skinned cats and even ate them. I was horrified by information went online and researched animal abuse across the world, saw some videos, and changed my life in a single day. Not only did I become even more compassionate about all lovable, cuddly animals, my health increased tremendously. I didn't even realize how 'unhealthy' I had been. Truely wonderful being a vegetarian!
I believe most people eat what they do out of ignorance and need to be shown the truth. The meat industry is cruel =(.
